Growing up in a small village in Cameroon, I learned early the meaning of hard work and community. At four years old, my mornings began with long walks into the forest to fetch water, the only reliable source, unless it rained. Those experiences taught me how precious basic resources are and grounded me in gratitude. At home, I found joy in the kitchen beside my mother, learning to transform simple ingredients into bold, unforgettable flavors. By eight, I was crushing peppers between two rocks, unaware that these early lessons were shaping the foundation of my future.

Years later, after immigrating to the United States, homesickness led me back to those memories. In 2017, searching for the flavors of Cameroon I couldn’t find in stores, I recreated the pepper sauce of my childhood a blend perfected by generations through love and intuition. That moment sparked the beginning of NOME Sauce. Today, it is more than a condiment; it is a mission-driven brand rooted in culture, entrepreneurship, and impact.
